21st October 2026 at Stephens Scown, Exeter at 12:30pm.   As legal qualification routes continue to diversify, organisations face important decisions about how best to develop future legal talent.   Join The College of Legal Practice for a roundtable discussion examining the latest developments in the SQE, Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive apprenticeships pathways. Against the backdrop of the SRA's SQE review, where the SQE exam itself is changing, we will explore each route and the mix of qualification pathways that can support your talent strategies and how to position them within the firm.    The session will focus on helping employers understand which qualification options are most appropriate for different employee groups, considering factors such as role requirements, career aspirations and learning preferences. The College will also update on how they are driving success in the SQE exams through structured client service and reporting.   In addition to practical guidance, participants will have the opportunity to share best practice and discuss common challenges relating to their early careers programmes.
