Commercial Property Solicitor, Wollens
The Property & Private Client Committee supports and represents legal professionals working in property law and private client matters. Our aim is to promote best practices, address legal and regulatory developments and issues, and advocate for our members interests.
Our Aims:
- Discuss key issues affecting property and private client practitioners
- Consider legislative and policy changes, ensuring members stay informed
- Promote professional development through discussions, resources, and events
- Engage with The Law Society on legal and regulatory frameworks
If you have a concern that is affecting you or your practice please reach out to any member of the committee and we would be happy to raise and discuss this at our next meeting.
Our committee is open to all, and we actively encourage new members to join our quarterly meetings (which are held either in person or remotely). Whether you are experienced or just starting out, your insights and contributions are valued as we work together to support the profession and uphold excellence in client service.
In the words of our Committee Members:
“The meetings are a really good place to discuss current and potential future issues and trends, to collaborate on ideas to help with the work we all do, and to support each other. It’s a friendly environment and everyone’s input is valued. We have a good mix of experience and qualifications, and it would be great to get more people involved for different perspectives and ideas shared. We also work towards trying to identify and remedy issues we all encounter to help us in our work, and to help those we represent.”
……
"It’s a great way of catching up with others in the industry to discuss issues we are all facing and go through any upcoming changes to policy and practice."
……
"A lovely perk of the meetings is that you “put a face to a name” and get to know some of the people you speak to all the time on transactions, in a more informal atmosphere! Finding out how everyone else is getting on with their caseloads and how they are dealing with issues is incredibly valuable and everyone who attends the meetings are supportive and full of ideas. Would recommend to all conveyancers!”
