Location: Dulverton Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Department: Residential Conveyancing Reports To: Head of Conveyancing Job Summary: Risdons Solicitors are looking for an experienced and motivated residential conveyancing professional to join our busy and growing property team, working from our Dulverton office. The successful candidate will have experience in managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters and will be comfortable dealing with the particular requirements of property transactions in a rural setting. Matters will include residential sales and purchases, new build, transfers of equity, shared ownership and remortgages, together with transactions involving rural and agricultural properties, land and more complex property matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety and complexity that comes with working in a rural property practice and who is keen to develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and local professional contacts. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent client care skills and the ability to work independently, while also contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction to completion. Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients on a wide range of conveyancing issues. Conduct title checks, prepare and review contracts, and manage the exchange and completion process. Deal with property transactions involving rural and agricultural properties, land and associated issues. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors. Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met in line with current legislation, SRA regulations and CQS requirements.
